17 Dec How RestStation Therapy Works
Why RestStation
RestStation was deigned as part of the Pathways2Veterans, a program set up to help veterans get relief from the mental and physical trauma following active service. It can be used by anyone for relief from a certain ailment, or as part of a routine relaxation practice. In our busy lifestyles, we are bombarded with loud and sudden sounds. Whether it be from traffic noise, radio blaring in the background, or even humming from our radiator, these sounds can get in the way of sleep and concentration. RestStation aims to reverse these harmful effects.
Synergy Float Center is proud to be a partner with Pathways for Veterans. Learn more about our veterans program here.
How RestStation Therapy Works
RestStation Therapy is a multisensory experience. It uses binaural beats to change the frequency of your brain waves into a more relaxed rate. The added low-frequency vibrations from the lounge chair help you enter and maintain a deep meditative state.
What to Expect
Regardless of your condition, you can expect a feeling of calm and ease. Users lie down on a lounge chair and listen to a playlist of music through noise-cancelling headphones. Once you enter this meditative state, we play a series of guided meditations and positive affirmations that help to relieve feelings of stress and anxiety. Playlist is designed to ease a specific disorder or discomfort, such as fatigue, high blood pressure, or migraine.
After your Session
The relaxing effects of RestStation typically last 72 hours after your session. It is important to be mindful of triggers in your environment throughout your day.
